DubLi Reverse Auctions
DubLi officially launched in North America April 4, 2009, and launched the "GLOBAL AUCTIONS" on June 29th, 2010.
This represents an unprecedented event in the history of the Internet. Even eBay, the world's largest online auction portal does not operate global auctions. They have auctions all around the world but they operate independent of each other in each country or region.
At the International Sales Directors’ training held May 15th and 16th at DubLi’s global headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida, Michael Hansen, Founder of DubLi and CEO and Director of MediaNet Group delivered some of the features of the rollout plan for the next few months. Advancements include a DubLi Global Auction; DubLi Entertainment; DubLi Network Academy offered virtually; and an Enhanced DubLi Shopping Mall.
With the recent leap in technology and the advancements in "Cloud Computing", DubLi has invested very significant resources on their virtual servers that allow the Reverse Auctions to operate literally in 95% of the countries of the world simultaneously. This means that a customer in Australia, Japan, North America or Peru will be bidding on the same items at the same time.
